NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Nashville Predators have placed Matt Duchene (doo-SHAYN’) on injured reserve with a lower-body injury that is expected to sideline the veteran center for three to five weeks. Duchene becomes the fourth Nashville player placed on IR since Tuesday, when defenseman Ryan Ellis and forward Luke Kunin were ruled out. Goalie Juuse Saros went on injured reserve Thursday. Duchene has eight points in 23 games this season along with a minus-11 rating. He is under contract with Nashville for $8 million a year through the 2025-26 season.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Cameron Krutwig had 18 points and 11 rebounds, and No. 22 Loyola Chicago beat Indiana State 65-49 to advance to the Missouri Valley Conference tournament final. Krutwig also had four assists and blocked three shots. Fellow senior Lucas Williamson scored 14 points for the Ramblers, and Keith Clemons had 12. Indiana State shot 38.5% from the field. Jake LaRavia scored 13 points for the Sycamores, and Tyreke Key had 11.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. (AP) — Peter Kiss scored 19 points, leading five into double figures and Bryant rolled past Sacred Heart 85-55 in the Northeast Conference tournament semifinals. Bryant advanced to the title game for the first time. The Bulldogs’ postseason was in jeopardy with a positive COVID-19 test a week ago before getting clearance to play by the Northeast Conference and the Rhode Island Department of Health. COVID-19 protocols left Bryant with seven players. Hall Elisias added 18 points for the Bulldogs, while Charles Pride chipped in 16.

HAMILTON, N.Y. (AP) — Tucker Richardson, Jack Ferguson and Jordan Burns scored 16 points apiece as Colgate defeated Boston University 77-69 in the Patriot League Conference tournament quarterfinals. Keegan Records had 11 points, seven rebounds and three blocks for Colgate. Javante McCoy scored a season-high 27 points for the Terriers. Sukhmail Mathon added 14 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks. Walter Whyte had 12 points.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (AP) — Isaiah Miller had 21 points as top-seeded UNC Greensboro defeated The Citadel 80-72 in the Southern Conference tournament quarterfinals. Angelo Allegri and Hayden Koval each added 13 points for UNC Greensboro. A.J. McGinnis had 10 points. Keyshaun Langley scored only three points despite entering the matchup as the Spartans’ second leading scorer at 10 points per game. Fletcher Abee had 18 points for the Bulldogs. Hayden Brown added 15 points and nine rebounds.
