Hi I’m Eden Lane here with your Entertainment Report.

Disney's Cruella dropped one spot from last weekend to third place this weekend earning an estimated $11.24 million
The ten-day start for Cruella has reached $43.68 million

This weekend The Horror Sequels fought it out. but ultimately A Quiet Place Part II settled for #2, second place, with an estimated $19.5 million. Which makes the ten-day start just over $88.6 million

New over the weekend - Warner Bros. and New Line's The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It pulled into 1st place at the box office with an estimates of just over $24.0 million. That is the biggest debut of an R-rated film during the pandemic.

Rotten Tomatoes score was a just-barely-“Fresh” 60% among critics whose summary reads “The Devil Made Me Do It represents a comedown for the core Conjuring films, although Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson keep the audience invested.” But the Audience score was a strong 84%

The stronger than expected performance could be a further sign that moviegoers are increasingly ready to return to theaters,

Well that’s the Entertainment Report for today, I’m Eden Lane.
