NHL commissioner Gary Bettman talked to Kyle Beach, they discussed about what the league can do to protect its' players after the former first-round pick said he was sexually assaulted by assistant coach Brad Aldrich.

Beach's attorney says Bettman expressed his "sincere regret" over what Beach had experienced.  The commissioner also offered the NHL's psychological services to the former player.

The report, which was commissioned by the Blackhawks, in response to two lawsuits against the team, says there was a meeting in May of 2010, right after the Blackhawks advanced to the Stanley Cup finals.  The report also says the accusations were address, but leadership did not take immediate action.  The NHL fined Chicago for $2 million dollars.
