The Mecosta County Sheriff's Office has concluded an investigation involving the distribution of methamphetamine in the Mecosta County Area.

Through the investigation, a suspect was identified and later arrested.

The Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office also obtained a search warrant and executed the search warrant where a large quantity of methamphetamine was located and seized.

According to the Sheriff, the suspect was arrested on a traffic stop after selling methamphetamine.

The suspect, 36-year-old Promise Cox of Lakeview, was lodged on Wednesday in the Mecosta County Jail where she was then arraigned the next day on 2 counts of Delivery of Crystal Methamphetamine and 2 counts of Possession of Methamphetamine.

Her bond was set at $200,000.
