JetBlue Plane Bumps into Another Plane at JFK Airport
(NEWSnet) — Federal officials are investigating after a JetBlue flight at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York bumped into another plane on Wednesday.
It comes just after a near-collision at the airport sparked an investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration.
Officials said that Flight 1603 was set to take off for Puerto Rico, but the aircraft was taken back to the gate after it struck the tail of another JetBlue plane with no one inside.
Flight 1603 was taken out of service upon returning to the gate. The flight took off once all passengers had boarded another plane.
Officials say no one was injured and the FAA will investigate the incident.
