One road was temporarily shut down on Saturday following a motorcycle crash.

At 5:36 pm, the City of Frankfort Fire & Rescue was dispatched to an unknown motorcycle crash in the area of M22 & Saffron Rd.

They state that the initial information was a motorcycle had hit a deer and left the roadway.

Units arrived on the scene and found two riders with serious injuries.

The pair were taken to the hospital and they were requested by law enforcement to shut down the highway for about an hour.
