This weekend the Kaleva Heritage Days took place, bringing the community together to celebrate.

Kaleva is known for many things, including the bottle house museum and the Railroad Depot Museum, as well as having deep roots in Finnish culture where many of the events for Kaleva Heritage Days come from, such as the Finnish Wife Carrying Contest, where someone carries someone else through a series of obstacles as fast as possible.

Other things like vendors on the main street, a pie eating contest, games for kids, a 5k race and much much more.

If you want to find more information, or participate in the events, you can find their information online or go to Kaleva and see it for yourself.
