(NEWSnet) — "Swifties" are in their record-breaking era.

Taylor Swift's fans have earned a reputation for breaking records and after the singer's recent "Eras" tour stop in Seattle, they've added a seismic activity record to their list of accomplishments.

According to a local seismologist, the audience of over 144,000 that packed Lumen Field across two sold out nights caused seismic activity that equates to a 2.3 magnitude earthquake.

Jackie Caplan-Auerback, a geology professor from Western Washington University, noted the occurrences while moderating a Pacific Northwest earthquake group on Facebook.

"I grabbed the data from both nights of the concert and quickly noticed they were clearly the same pattern of signals," she said. "If I overlay them on top of each other, they're nearly identical."

Seismologists attempted to piece together Swift's setlist to the waves, with one staffer at the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network creating a sonogram to match the seimic activity with which songs Swift was singing: "Blank Space" and "Shake It Off" from Swift's 1989 era were identified.

The "Swift Quake" has been compared to the 2011 "Beast Quake," when Seattle Seahawks fans erupted after an impressive touchdown by running back Marshawn Lynch.

The “Eras” tour heads to Santa Clara in Northern California on Friday, and continues with six shows in Los Angeles next month to cap off her U.S. tour run.
