In Michigan High School Football, once you win in the 1st round of the playoffs, it can do wonders for a team, and make you believe beating anyone is possible.

The Big Rapids Varsity Football team has the entire Division 4 on notice.  The Cardinals are coming off a 1st round upset win at Spring Lake, now they have a chance to win their first district championship since 2009. The Cards will have a huge 2nd round showdown against Whitehall in Holton on Friday.  The Vikings are undefeated, they are the very team that defeated Big Rapids in the playoffs last year.  Some of the Cards want to exact some revenge, but it's not going to be easy.  To beat them, Big Rapids will have to look at what they did great against the Lakers and it's start with controlling the clock and keeping the ball away from the Vikes.
