Leland Soccer Ready to Re-Group
The Leland High School Boys' Varsity Soccer team had a heck of a run, the Comets made it back to the state semifinals, and they may have the pieces to win it all next year.
Leland ended losing to Muskegon Western Michigan Christian in the Division 4 state semis, 3-0. The Comets felt they played a great game. But in soccer, the little things can play to the favor of the opponents, and the Warriors took advantage of their opportunities. Leland Head Coach Rob Sirrine hoped to reach the finals after falling in the same situation last year. He says the Comets are coming back with a loaded deck, and they will be one of the favorites next year.
