The Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce has issued a scam warning regarding a scam targeting businesses.

The Chamber of Commerce tells us there this is a Facebook copyright scam.

You may receive a direct message that says your page is scheduled for permanent deletion, like the photo on your screen.

The Chamber of Commerce says Do not click on the link.

They add that local businesses have clicked on the link and lost their Facebook pages because of it.

They add part of this scam is they gain access to your credit or debit card associated with your Facebook page, and that Facebook doesn't direct message users
