The Manistee Frostbite Festival has made its return, and with it the popular Chili Cookoff which draws people to the downtown area for an evening of fun events and food.

Now the event has had some changes, bringing everything to the Manistee Inn and Marina and then letting people visit the rest of downtown as they want, with the incentive of a scavenger hunt to go into the local businesses, as well as a small rivalry between Ludington's Mayor and Manistee's who both were serving chili at the event.

and of course this just goes to help the town itself, bringing people in to enjoy what the historic town has to offer.

If you'd like to join the fun, the event is planned to return to its annual schedule so you can join in next year and find more info online or on Downtown Manistee's Facebook page.
