The Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is telling everyone to turn out the lights tomorrow at 8:30 pm for Earth Hour.

So what is Earth Hour?

Sleeping Bear Dunes tells us it's an annual, international event that unites people to protect our beautiful planet.

Organized by the World Wildlife Federation, there are over 190 countries that have participated in this event.

Sleeping Bear Dunes says you can use the time between 8:30 and 9:30 pm to celebrate this global movement with family and friends in fun, new, and interesting ways.

You could have a candlelight dinner, go outside and stargaze, or come up with ideas to help protect our planet and it's resources.
