Live Well Kalkaska has their Serenity Garden located behind the Kalkaska Area Schools and it was in need of revitalizing, so students from Kalkaska High School and the Conservation District joined in to spruce it up.

This garden is also part of an annual event. Each December, members of the community get together to honor those who have passed and are still struggling with substance abuse disorder.

This Tree stands as a reminder to be respectful of others, everyone is dealing with something, and just by lending a hand or respecting others, we can make a difference.

If you need help, don't forget you can always dial the suicide & crisis lifeline 988.
If you'd like to visit the garden it rests just outside of the Rocking Horse Arena Entrance, down the road from the Kalkaska church of Christ on West Kalkaska Road.
