The Lake County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal shooting that happened Saturday morning.

Just after midnight, deputies responded to a reported shooting, with a victim laying in the road near Peyton's Bar & Grill in Yates Township.

Deputies say they found an unresponsive man lying in the road.

The victim, a 32 old Baldwin man, was shot multiple times and was later pronounced dead.

An 18 year old Idlewild man was taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

He will remain in custody after he is released from the hospital.

A 41 year old Idlewild man was taken into custody for Resisting and Obstructing while Deputies were working the scene.

Deputies say this appears to be an isolated incident involving an earlier dispute, and they believe there is no threat to the public at large.
