The missing kayaker who disappeared was found in Lake Michigan off the shores of Glen Arbor on Tuesday a little after 10:30am, according to the Leelanau County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies tell us after days of multiple agencies searching, the body was found in 109 feet of water.

Recovered by divers from the Michigan State Police.

The kayaker, 28-year-old Eric Gabryel from Capac was missing since Saturday a little after 3PM.

Gabryel and a 37-year-old woman from Emmet left from the Glen Haven area in kayaks earlier in the day.

Deputies say while kayaking Gabryel's kayak got filled with water.

The woman tried to get them back to shore but was unsuccessful.

Her kayak also started to fill with water.

Gabryel disappeared and the woman was pulled from the water by a passing boater.

She was taken to Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
